Amy is an Oregon native and has been working in the legal field since 2016. She started as a file clerk while in her sophomore year of college at Portland State University. Here she worked to complete her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies in addition to working full time and taking a full case load. Since then, Amy has become an experienced Paralegal in the areas of Civil Litigation, Insurance Defense, and Domestic Relations. Once in the foster care system herself, Amy holds a special place in her heart for cases involving complex domestic issues, custody, families, and children. Joining McKean Smith’s team allows Amy to use her high attention to detail and organization to support attorneys through their practice of representing clients from start to finish in many areas of law but particularly in Domestic Relations cases.

Amy lives in Vancouver, WA with her husband Lukas and two dogs Oaken and Willow. Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her siblings, nieces and nephews and close friends.
