McKean Smith is proud to sponsor “A Tail to Remember”, a dinner and live auction to raise funds for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. As huge pet lovers and pet parents, this charity is very close to our hearts. This year is their 30th Anniversary and this is their biggest event of the year. Funds raised from this dinner and live auction will go towards their forever mission, which is for all pets to live healthy lives, in loving homes. To make that happen, it takes resources – a shelter that is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, clean bedding, a caring and experienced staff, veterinary care, emergency treatments, behavior training, food, water, and basic supplies. The funds raised from this appeal will help them to continue to provide all of these things to the pets in their care, as well as continuing to provide community programs such as their Pet Food Panty and Emergency Veterinary Assistance Program.
