Kaitlynn Schultz

As a recent law school graduate, Kaitlynn spent her summers during school working with local non-profit organizations like Access the Law in Eugene and Legal Aid Services of Portland. These organizations focus on providing legal services to low-income communities and assisting individuals and families experiencing a wide variety of legal issues. Additionally, Kaitlynn also spent her final year of law school as an intake volunteer with Lane County Legal Aid.

After graduation, Kaitlynn clerked for the Hon. Valeri L. Love at Lane County Circuit Court. During her clerkship, she was also involved with the Lane County Treatment Court Docket and later worked with her Judge at the Juvenile Courthouse.

Prior to law school, Kaitlynn served her community as a social worker. Kaitlynn’s drive to achieve fair results that are reasonable and equitable for everyone involved inspired her interest in the legal field. That drive fueled her decision to work specifically in family law, and she brings to McKean Smith a level-headed and communicative approach to her cases to achieve fair outcomes for her clients’ unique legal issues.

“I strive to make my clients’ perspectives heard as I advocate for them and work toward an equitable solution to their case.”

When she is not in the office, Kaitlynn enjoys going to the movies, roller skating, taking care of her ever-expanding indoor garden, and relaxing at home with her spouse, two huskies, and cat.
