Amanda is an Oregon native who started in the legal field in 2005 as a part-time office assistant while attending Portland State University for Administrative Justice and Writing. She then worked her way up to a full-time paralegal position while completing her AAS is Paralegal Studies at Portland Community College. She has a diverse background, with an emphasis in personal injury, construction defect, and product liability.

After a nearly eight-year hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, Amanda is excited to join McKean Smith. Her love for quality attorneys brought her to MKS, and her expectations were exceeded upon getting paired with Mr. Nixon.

While her favorite pastime is the law, Amanda also enjoys watching horror movies with her husband, gardening, crafting, getting outside with her family, and writing creative nonfiction.
